Addictive games

I'd like to introduce you to two of THE most addictive computer games ever created.

Number 1 is Bookworm. Here's a screenshot:

The object of Bookworm is to make as many words as possible before red flaming tiles reach the bottom of the screen (I call them devil tiles). Sometimes I get to the point where I'm playing the game and not having fun anymore but I simply cannot stop. If you're interested in playing Bookworm, simply google it and you'll find both a free online version and a downloadable version that costs $19.95. I have the downloadable version because it lets you save your game.


The second game I'm obsessed with is called Bejeweled.

It's a simple matching game -- create a row of three or more "jewels" and you get points. One of the things that makes Bejeweled particularly treacherous is the fact that you can download it on many cell phones. So unlike Bookworm, your obsession can follow you around all day. If you're interested in giving Bejeweled a try, just google it -- it's available on many different gaming sites.


So there you have it. Two of the biggest time-wasters in my life.
