Drat

I had to send my brand-spanking-new camera back today because it had a dead pixel on the lcd screen. I was able to take about 200 photos yesterday. Sadly, most of them were of my dog. I hope to venture out to interesting places around town once my camera comes back.

Yesterday I also took some photos of sparrows and other rather boring birds because those are the only ones that usually visit my yard. Wouldn't you know it -- this morning on my way out to my car I saw a real-live hawk sitting on my front fence! Where was my camera? Packed in a box for the UPS man! It just made me want to say ARGH!

In other news, I have part of the first season of LOST from Netflix to watch this weekend. Yes, when it comes to popular TV shows, I'm sometimes a late bloomer. I'll let you know what I think of it ...
