My dog, Jessie, used to have a rubber chicken squeaky toy that she loved. Here is a picture of her enjoying it. One day the rubber chicken mysteriously disappeared so I replaced it. That one disappeared too, so I got her another one. THAT one is now missing.
But I have solved the mystery. I am taking care of a neighbor's Corgi tonight while she is out of town. Lo and behold, Taylor (the Corgi) has not one, not two, but THREE rubber chickens in her toy basket! Taylor uses my yard at times for recreation while I'm not home -- her yard isn't fenced in. Apparently, she is sneaking off with the rubber chickens! From now on, there are going to be rules for visiting dogs. Rubber chickens must stay on the premises!
